NorCal Conference Nov. 7

The NorCal conference will be held at San Jose State University Saturday, Nov. 7.

The cost is $40 per delegate through Oct. 30 and $50 after that. Registration is by school and schools must be paid members by Oct. 15 to avoid penalties.

A password is required to register. Advisers will be supplied the password separately or contact Rich Cameron or Timi Poeppelman.

Mid-Winter Faculty Conference

Also known as the Morro Bay Conference because of its location each January/February, the Mid-Winter Faculty Conference is a two-day affair for journalism faculty to discuss teaching issues and get an annual update on media law. Many years a day-long workshop, known as the Blue Heron Workshop, precedes the conference and focuses on one topic of teaching training. (More)

The Annual Convention is a three-day affair for students and faculty that offers a full array of workshops, contests, meetings and more. This premiere JACC event rotates annually between southern and northern California and is held in late March/early April. (More)
