JACC Convention April 8-10

The 2010 JACC Annual Convention will be held April 8-10 at the Wilshire Grand Hotel in Los Angeles. Registration is $200 per delegate ($250 for commuters) through March 19. After March 19 a late registration fee of $50 will apply.

JACC rates at the Wilshire Grand are $129 and $149 plus tax and are available until March 18, 2010.

To make reservations at the Wilshire Grand check out the hotel options form. Forms needed for your reservation are the Hotel Reservation Form and the Credit Card Authorization form.

The fee is $200 for regular registration and $250 for commuters before March 19. After March 19 add $50 per delegate.

Mid-Winter Faculty Conference

Also known as the Morro Bay Conference because of its location each January/February, the Mid-Winter Faculty Conference is a two-day affair for journalism faculty to discuss teaching issues and get an annual update on media law. Many years a day-long workshop, known as the Blue Heron Workshop, precedes the conference and focuses on one topic of teaching training. (More)

State Convention

The Annual Convention is a three-day affair for students and faculty that offers a full array of workshops, contests, meetings and more. This premiere JACC event rotates annually between southern and northern California and is held in late March/early April. (More)
