ONLINE ARTICLES (does not apply to photos)
Articles and photos published exclusively on online editions of student publications may be entered in all mail-in writing competitions. (Excluding Online Photo, which must be an online photo.)
Entries must be presented in their originally published format. Entries that have been edited or altered subsequent to online publication are not eligible.
Entry formation will be a print out of the article from the publication's Web site and must contain the publication's flag/logo. The publication adviser must attest to the eligibility of the entry.
MERITORIOUS AWARDS
Only "Meritorious" awards will be awarded in contests that generate 10 percent or less capacity (i.e., if 50 schools participate capacity is 100 -- 50 x 2. If 10 or fewer entries are received, no first-through-fourth award or honorable mention awards will be made, only meritorious awards at the discretion of the judges. Magazine capacity will be based on the number of schools with magazines.
